Domestic Violence

What evil lies upon this earth when men and woman despise one another’s worth?
The weapons came in two and it would be you who would beat me black and blue by physical and mental abuse, you promised me when the storms came I would be shielded from the rain, you promise to erase all my doubt by building our family into a godly house.

As the children and I lay to rest we would immediately be awaken by a blast and shattered glass, my eyes are weak with pain to see the rage in your face the question I ask is why do I allow myself to swallow the truth when inside I know this abuse will one day leave my children orphan youth. I pray this night when death comes for me my heavenly father has open arms to receive me and to my family left all alone “rest assure my father has taken me to a secret place where I am safe from harm”.
To all the victims of domestic abuse pray and ask god for inner peace within you. And once you embark to a better place allow yourself allotted time to learn a new individual’s first and second mind.

Do not wear a badge of innocence upon your breast or chest and protect your heart from allowing vulnerability to spark interest.
Do no not ignore the signs of a person’s weak self-esteem and draw into their ego and material things. Avoid the challenge of being enticed by a dramatic life to share a relationship with a person who harness violence will lead you into a mad man’s dream filled with violent screams.
To whom this may concern one day you will receive a groom or bride and their name will be karma bottled inside.
We can’t change the world until we change ourselves in this life and every person will  endure strife but reject it to define the substance of your life.

A Lover's Prayer

When I fall to my knees and look to the sky

I pray our love will be all right.

I pray we do not refuse to accept one another’s apologies when admitting our wrongs. I pray we are mature enough to dismiss our egos and move on.

I pray our children will possess our morals of life and courage if challenged to a fight.

I pray in our storms one will remain with strong arms.

I pray our trust supersedes the turmoil of lies.

I pray we will hold on tight through this rocky road called life.

I pray we supply one another’s emotional, physical and most important, “spiritual needs”.

I pray even now that God has destroyed our enemies.

A Good Man

Is not hard to find it only takes patience of understanding his;
Mind- Listen and allow him to make mistakes he is not always required to fix things allow them to break.
Heart-Understand when he is feeling low why no one can process what he is going through, sometimes a man’s pride and ego will shine through. Allow him to fall to his knees and release it to a higher power who can supply his needs.
Hands- Teach him it is ok to cry, disappointments are part of his plan and if you did not believe in him you would not be there to hold his hand.
Feet -Teach him why he does not have to walk alone truth is in the scripture his father carries him through his storms.
