I wanted to share one last sermon. Now this sermon may not be accommodating if
you like a safe space because not all people are interested in sermons that
reflect human activity.
I found out something about myself over the years. When I
realized how I became what some people say “you’re a smart ass” in the way you
say things. But let’s not judge so quickly, until you process all the
information accurately. In how people project and act. But they are not always
happy with the response that is reciprocated back. Now this is how the sermon
began:
Have you ever been called a “smart ass” or maybe someone has
said “he or she thinks they know it all” are how about “that person is always
in somebody else’s business”. Funny isn’t it? How we spend the majority of our
lives searching for answers in people that judge our lives.

See some people are mindful and clueless at the same. I have no
doubt I myself had to figure me out. Some people are mindful of what they say
and do; regardless if it’s hurts you. But society labels this action as being
real. Some people coerce there words to prompt your actions; only to make
it all about their narcissistic personality in testing your vulnerability. Some
people look for advice but you may not answer them right. Some people like to
be heard and it does not always require your initiation to fix their situation.
Some people need you to say what is on your mind; because they don’t a have lot
of time. Until they need you on their side. Some people have experienced
similar situations and cannot process listening to recycled information.
Some people hint to ask for help; but may not like the way you assist in
accommodating what they are exhausted with. Some people like to air their
private business because they want you to indulge an extra interest. Some
people will act as if they have a physical or love interest in you; just to get
out of you what they can’t get their mates to do and if you watch how people
are quick to judge your “smart ass”. It’s only because you see through the “BS”
their serving you. So what are the chances that a smart ass exists in
every one of the following sermons-messages, regardless of who delivers it?
The Associate who only shares with you information they want you
to know. And that is how far that association goes.
The boyfriend and girlfriend or the domestic partners who have
established certain arrangements in their relationships; but adding third
parties does not always work in dysfunction. And someone in humanity is living
this life silently.
The Boss, Team and Hierarchy who always expect for workers to
operate on their timely emotions; and if anyone was to do some thorough
research it would be delightful to know who is really productive in their work.
Not shifting stacks of papers and emails placed in draft.
The Friendships that last or demise over time; all because you
were not catering to what everyone desired something out of you; so think twice
before compromising yourself to satisfy people’s fantasies that change out of
the blue.
The Lawyer and Judge who makes the final distinction based on
your character; but everyone else is the smart ass, except the person who may
or may have not initiated the choices.
The News reporter who people love and hate; but how and where do
they find the stories they write?
The Preacher who delivers the message of salvation; but does
every tone carried out over the congregation receive an "amen or
disarrange facial expression"? When referencing our human good or
naughty behavior.
The Slave owner who impoverished many innocent lives then one
day in history people continued to fight one another; over whom was wrong or
right.
The Spouse and The Mistress or the Transgender lover; but nobody
questions the actions while everything is unseen but happening.
The Family member with addiction or always making crazy choices
to get attention; but nobody is positively talking about how they can help them
out.
The Credit Collector who calls up to 9 pm; and challenges you to
make a payment for what your financial choices.
The Stranger who is watching your every mood, but nobody’s
talking about what kind of attention some of us are drawing people into.
The adviser in whom you shared all your problems with; and
believe it or not some of the information is hard to process, of self- inflicted
madness.
The negotiator hired to find a balance in a disagreement.
Between two parties who continue in resuming an argument. Simply because, it
just makes sense to not have proper communication.
The people in humanity that for ages prolong the fight over
religion, voting and equal rights see that they are exhausted with themselves
overtime Instead of standing in line.
Shouldn’t attendance at the next voting pole be more conducive
in our lives in figuring out who is really humble about turning this system
around?
I will assume humanity has identified with where this passage
left our past straight back into our future. So if any human is called a “smart
ass” take this from me as a lesson learned; always be prepared to be critiqued,
judged and blamed for taking some responsibility in how you translate to
humanity.
